Cherish Life Mentorship Program presents S.A.f.E.T.Y. This stands for seeking atonement from educating the youth through role play. We use real life scenarios to teach todays youth about regret, remorse and taking responsibility for their actions which also leads to learning about empathy and making amends. This is a 6 month program which is followed by our program S.A.f.E.T.Y Survivors. Which is ongoing program to keep the youth engaged in role playing as well as having a place to keep in contact with their mentors as a resource to help with problem solving and finding ways of giving back to the community. The final program is called we are not our past. This program helps people get through the stigmas of what society thinks about them. This program teaches that even though we made mistakes, we can overcome those and become the person that we strive to be. We are not domed by who we were but are capable of a far better future.

Seeking Atonement from educating the youth through role playing is a 6 month program... Seeking atonement from educatng the youth through role playing, often abreviated as S.A.f.E.T.Y involves using educational activities like role playing senarios, to address past mistakes or wrong doings. the goal is to make amends and prevent future issues by fostering understanding and positive behavior among young people. By actively engaging them in role playing exercises, Educators aim to teach valuable life skills, ethical decision making and empathy, thereby contributing to their personal development and helping them make better choices.

"We Are Not Our Past"... which means that our current identity and worth are not defined by our previous mistakes. This phrase emphasizes that individuals have the capacity to grow, change and evolve beyond their past circumstances. It suggests that ones present and future potential are not limited by their past errors or experiences but can be shaped by current choices and efforts. It encourages self forgiveness and a focus on the future rather than being constrained by past limitations.
